(NC)-Adam McIsaac shows his real face by standing up for what he believes in and has been selected as one of four outstanding Canadian youth profiled on ShowYourRealFace.com.

The website, introduced by Cetaphil's Acne Principles, hosts an online community, designed to encourage individuality and self-expression, while profiling inspiring young Canadians.

Hailing from St. Peter's Bay, Prince Edward Island, Adam has made connections across the globe through his experiences working with non-governmental organizations.

Fair trade, the environment, human rights, youth activism and equality for everyone are just a few of the issues to which he dedicates his time and energy.

Adam is currently working with Peace Child International in England on a United Nations Development Programme - the Youth Climate Change Project.

He has represented Canada as a youth delegate at a United Nations Framework Convention on climate change in Indonesia, volunteered with fair trade collectives in the Dominican Republic, received training by Al Gore and Dr. David Suzuki with The Climate Project Canada, and is involved with TakingITGlobal.org. And that's just in his spare time.

When asked to share one thing he's learned about showing his real face over the years, Adam said, "Follow your interests - there is always a benefit to being involved and engaged in things that matter to you. You can make change, and when you do, more opportunities follow."

To stay in the loop about Adam's latest endeavours, see pictures of the work he's doing, read his blog, or interact with other extraordinary youth, check out www.showyourrealface.com.
