(NAPSI)-A delightful new book filled with rhyme, wordplay and humor may have your children "purning tages" for hours.

The book, called "Runny Babbit, A Billy Sook" (Harper Collins, $17.99), was written by famous children's author Shel Silverstein. It uses spoonerisms (the accidental switching of the parts of two or more words) to tell fun tales; "bunny rabbit," for example, becomes "runny babbit."

Here's an example of a playful poem from Silverstein's book:

So if you say, "Let's bead a rook

That's billy as can se,"

You're talkin' Runny Babbit talk,

Just like mim and he.

Shel Silverstein is the creator of such children's favorites as "Where the Sidewalk Ends," "A Light in the Attic," "Falling Up" and "The Giving Tree." Completed before Silverstein's death in 1999, "Runny Babbit" was a work in progress for over 20 years, and has been described as "groundbreaking, insightful and witty."
