Woman's Feet Gain National Attention

(NUI) - Few people can say that they are famous for their feet. One woman's feet, however, are getting national attention.

Carmina Swofford, whose feet were recently named "the prettiest feet in Texas," will appear in national advertisements showcasing the new look of Pretty Feet & Hands, B.F. Ascher's popular exfoliant for dry skin.

"I have always been told that I have pretty feet," said Swofford of Austin, Texas. "Now everyone knows my secret."

After 50 years in the same package, Pretty Feet & Hands recently got a 21st-century makeover with a sleek new contour-shaped bottle. B.F. Ascher engaged consumers in the "pretty feet" contest as part of its national campaign to introduce the new bottle design to the public. Based on the success of this contest, B.F. Ascher hopes to hold the contest in other states and ultimately have a national competition to select the "prettiest feet in the country."

Initial customer response to the new design has been positive, said James Ascher, the company's president."They love the feel and shape of the new bottle and have found it very easy to grip," he said.
