What better meal is there than a delicious pot roast with vegetables? It is quick and easy and smells wonderful! It is one of those belly warming meals made for a nice cool fall evening, or a cold winter one. It will make for a wonderful dinner to end a long day at school and work. A family meal to enjoy while you all catch up on what each other did this day!
Easy Crock Pot Roast
Ingredients:
3 to 4 pound beef pot roast
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 cup beef broth
1 or 2 cups of chopped vegetables
you can include:
celery,potatoes,carrots,onions,turnips,broccoli,or any other vegetable that your family enjoys
Directions:
Place pot roast in crock pot and top with mushrooms.
In a small bowl, mix soup mix and beef broth, then pour into crockpot.
Add chopped vegetables.
Cover and cook 10-12 hours on low or 5-6 hours on high.
