(ARA) - Whether your child comes home right after school and dives into homework or heads to an after-school sport or extracurricular activity, it is important to make sure he or she eats an energy-filled snack to get through the rest of the day.
Jolly Time Pop Corn Minis bag of microwave popcorn is a tasty and convenient after school, whole grain snack for at home or on-the-go.

But for days that call for something extra special, surprise kids with After School Energy Boosters -- a fun-filled treat that will perk up hectic back-to-school schedules. Kids will love their crunchy texture and peanut butter flavor, and moms will love how easy they are to make.

After School Energy Boosters

1 bag (3.5 ounces) Jolly Time Healthy Pop 94 Percent Fat Free Butter Flavor Microwave Pop Corn

1 cup chow mein noodles

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/8 cup white chocolate or almond bark

1 package (12 ounces) butterscotch or peanut butter chips

1. Pop popcorn according to package directions. Open bag carefully and pour into large bowl; discard unpopped kernels. Add chow mein noodles to bowl.

2. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt baking chips, peanut butter and white chocolate, uncovered, on HIGH (100 percent power) for 2 minutes; stir well. Pour over popcorn mixture; stir until evenly coated.
