(NC)-When it comes to today's vivid colours for your décor, it's all or nothing. According to the latest colour trends bright and bold seem to be the theme of the latest palette of lively colours.

One of the colour trends of Sico Paints' diversified colour palette is called Energy, which showcases colours that will raise the vitality of any room.

"Whether you plan to paint an entire house or renovate and update one room, these hues will add style and excitement to your living space," says Dominique Pépin, Senior Brand Manager at Sico Paints and a member of the Color Marketing Group.

Sizzling hot in every sense of the word, this vibrant palette shimmers vitality. "It's a zap-happy choice that will raise the energy level in any room," she adds.

You won't need your supplements from the cupboard; colour is the only vitamin you'll need. Especially when you choose Sico Paints' lively yellows such as Dark Lemon (6098-64) and their close companions for your kitchen.

Flamenco Red (6054-75) and Calcutta Silk (6060-63) orange can definitely make an impact in your dining room. They stimulate both the appetite and the conversation.

Of all the colours in the Energy palette, blue is still the favourite, adds Pépin. "Year after year shade after shade, blue is always an important part of the latest trends." Sea and sky converge in blues such as, New Brunswick Sky (6153-31) and Effluvium (6007-73) that reflect the singular style of your living space.

Decorator tips for this colour series:

Pépin recommends using a flat finish to add depth to the colours chosen without diminishing their invigorating impact. Need even more energy? Try bright, bold accessories to increase the impact and energy of the room. For more information on the latest colour trends visit sico.ca.
