(ARA) - With the current push for academic achievement, teachers need to enter the school year not only prepared to battle students’ “summer slide,” but to be at the top of their own instructional game. Research has highlighted two broad categories for teacher effectiveness: first, the level of knowledge and skills teachers bring to the classroom, as measured by preparation and qualifications, and second, their classroom practices.
