Having a baby is such a wonderful experience that only can be surpassed when it comes by twice! Dealing with two, three or more children is rewarding but somewhat stressful.

When your twins turn into something other than the quiet adorable angels you imagine, you must stick to the old saying stating that every child is different, regardless if they came together. You need to make the pull together as well, but understanding their individual psychology.

Although discipline is the path to work through it all, choosing your battles will give you a slight advantage. Never let them take the command literally because no matter how much the can scream or cry, when you say no, it must be NO. Only being consistent with your negative answer will it teach them who is setting the rules.

Because your priority is caring for your twins, remember that after punishment it is necessary to make them feel safe and secure, changing your tactics but not your decisions, and always trying to show your love without propitiating abuse or sentimental blacklist from them.

Redirecting the steps of your children is necessary because their natural curiosity of discovering the world that surrounds them can lead your children to risky paths. If you can substitute full-time no's with an explanation about why they should not do this or that may be just the trick to get them to hear something other than negative words.

When children are two or three years old, they can understand if you explain to them with caring words. Twins are more exposed to emotional torments than that the feelings that a single child might experience. Learning more by finding further reading on childcare can be your best aid.

Severity in you actions is necessary but losing effectiveness within a short term, since your twins will always fighting against your authority. Changing frequency and degree in severity will never let them know what to expect from you diminishing their natural behavior.

Have you heard about causing confusion in the enemy's field to win a battle?
If your terrible pair are not at risk, feel free to say YES from time to time, or let them express all the wildness that they are carrying around inside.

Furthermore, if you can offer them alternatives to their wishes, you will be teaching them that the world does not turn around their wishes. If you ask them to accept eating an apple, it is more likely that they will refuse, but if you ask them to choose what they want between two or more options, then you are contributing to changing the way in which your adorable "war machine" works. This also promotes individuality, which can be a major concern as your twins are growing.

Make sure your twins are getting enough sleep, explain your negative answer in a simple and comprehensible way, and never let your guard down because all your efforts will help provide a loving and caring home in which your twins can grow, learn, and become individuals.
