Otherwise your web site will be irrelevant and nobody will ever come to it.
Whenever you are building your web site, make sure that you target a specific keyword or keyword phrase. Of course, the more keywords that you use, the more often indexing robots will come to your web site to take a look around and rank it accordingly.
While this is important, you also do not want to make every other word a keyword because that is all the bot will see and it will not recognize that your content is original. As such, you really do need to use your keywords wisely and you also always need to make sure that your content is original.
This will make your web site better, which in turn will make your page rank better, which in turn will get you more traffic.
Of course, keywords are not the only way in which to make your web site successful. Your web site will not be any good even if you are listed in the top 10 in the Search Engines and yet your web site is not able to be navigated.
It really is important for you to ensure that your web site is easy to use because otherwise a user will not stay on your web site. You also do not want to confuse the user. Therefore, you should only have 1 topic per page and a very simple design.
This does not mean that you cannot use headers and graphics to enhance your web site but you do not want to make your entire web site this way. Instead, you want to keep things both clean and simple.
As such, you should never use loud colors or huge graphics. People do not want to see these things. They are coming to your web site for the information, product or service that you are providing.
