This is one of the easiest Christmas craft ideas you will find to help your kids have some holiday Fun! You can make a snowman from two paper plates!
Make a snowman decoration using two paper plates. This makes a nice decoration to put on a door or hang in a window.
Here's what you will need
2 white paper plates 1 large and 1 small or two of the same size
a little piece of string or ribbon to hang it with
construction paper
a piece of pipe cleaner or something orange for his nose
crayons or markers
scissors
glue
If you have something that will pass for eyes or buttons or a mouth use them, if not you can draw them
A hole punch if you have one
If you have two different sized paper plates the large on will be the body and the smaller one will be the head.
If you have two plates the same size, cut one in a smaller circle.
With your hole punch or a pencil make a hole in the rim of both plates. This is where you will tie with string or yarn the body and head of the snowman together.
Tie the plates together with the yarn or string.
Now how about a face for your snowman? If you are going to use supplies like buttons or something that looks like an eye glue them on. If you are going to draw those things then draw them. Next you can finish his face by giving him a nose.
Now your snowman needs a hat, and some hands or mittens. You can draw them on the construction paper and then cut them out. Glue them where you think they look the best.
If you would like your snowman to be a snow woman you can draw her a dress.
Does your snowman or woman need a scarf, gloves, anything else? If you think of something extra to put on your snowman or woman just draw it cut it out and glue it on. It is your creation and should look like you want it to.
You are just about finished now. Look at your snowman or your snow woman. Do they look good to you? If not why don't you change something.
Now you can make one more hole on the head or hat of the snowman or woman. Run some string, yarn or ribbon through it and tie it. You can now hang your Holiday decoration up!
