You can add to your family's holiday fun by making a delectable cookie tree ornaments. It is very easy, and quick to do. You can let your kids be creative by baking cookies in many different sizes and shapes.

You and your kids can decorate the cookies using icing, or edible glue. You can put candies on the cookies to give them an extra special personalized look.

You can hang the cookies on your Christmas Tree as decorations. You can make a hole in each cookie before you bake it by rolling a small piece of cardboard up, and inserting it in the top of each cookie.

This will guarantee that the hole will stay open while your baking your cookies. When you have baked and decorated the cookies, just put a holiday ribbon through the hole, tie a knot in it, and hand the cookie decorations on your tree.

On the very top of your tree, you can place a large gingerbread cookie. In the center of the gingerbread cookie you can place a Christmas tree light. As with the other cookies, you must do this before baking. Place the piece of cardboard you used for the decoration cookies right in the middle of your gingerbread cookie.

This will leave a hole to insert the Christmas Tree Light. You can decorate the gingerbread cookie how ever you like, and place the light in its center. Put it on the tree, and there you will have a lovely tree topper, and many decorations that are all edible.

Won't your company be amazed to see all the work you have put into this wonderful Holiday Tree?

You can make your own Christmas tree skirt by using an apron with holiday pictures on it, or one with fruit, or cookies. You can use a sheet set with a holiday pattern.

Won't you and your kids be proud of yourself when you see how wonderful your decorations look. Hey, Mom, don't forget to take pictures of you and the kids while you are making these cookies. The pictures will be great add on to your family photo journal.
